N command overview

Here the full command listing for NS. For help with the syntax symbols (< >'s [ ]'s etc) please visit the X commands page, where we give a introduction for that.

NS links to X's account database, so in order to use NS, you must first have an account on X and be authed to X.

There are two key commands in N, and these are as follows:

REGISTER

/msg N REGISTER
This will register your current nick to the N database to be associated with your current X account.

RECOVER

/msg N RECOVER
This will kill the user currently using the nickname you've associated with yourself.

There are also three other commands that you may find useful.

RELEASE

/msg N RELEASE
This will release a juped nick for you to use again.

SET AUTOKILL

/msg N SET AUTOKILL <on/off>
If autokill is set to be on, then N will kill anyone who connects with your nick who is not authed to your account. N will then "jupe" this nickname to prevent further people using it. To regain a "juped" nickname, use the release command once authed.

WHOAMI

/msg N WHOAMI
N will tell you who it thinks you are.
